Welcome to Your Social City Bern

Are you new to Bern? Do you want to get to know the social side of your city and meet other people - locals and people who have just arrived as you? Or have you already been living quite a while here but you would like to make new friends? Socialising in new cities can be quite difficult sometimes - and maybe even a little bit more difficult in Switzerland. However, we will support you to make Bern your Social City.

This webpage offers a variety of services and information that will help you become acquainted with your city. Do you need to learn German or French? We'll send you your teacher to your home or office. And if you're interested in cultural life or busy with administrative stuff, we'll tell you where to get the information you need. (under the tap "Links for Your Life in Bern")

Last but not least, have a look at our social activities, the trips in and around Bern, which do not only bring you in touch with new people but let you discover your new city. Enjoy!
